Special precautions: for use in animals Whenever possible, the medicine should be used after performing a sensitivity test.
When using this medication, the official recommendations on the use of antimicrobials should be taken into account.
The use of fluoroquinolones should be reserved for the treatment of those clinical cases that have responded poorly or are expected to respond poorly to other classes of antimicrobials.
The use of the drug under conditions other than those recommended in the Technical Data Sheet may increase the prevalence of bacteria resistant to fluoroquinolones and decrease the efficacy of treatment with other fluoroquinolones due to cross-resistance.
Pradofloxacin may increase the sensitivity of the skin to sunlight. During treatment, animals should not be excessively exposed to sunlight.
Specific precautions to be taken by the person administering the drug to animals Charged vials and syringes should be kept out of the reach and sight of children due to possible harmful effects.
People with known hypersensitivity to quinolones should avoid all contact with the veterinary medicinal product.

Lactation: Do not use during lactation as there are no data on the use of pradofloxacin in kittens of less than 6 weeks. Fluoroquinolones are known to cross the placenta and are distributed in milk.
