Equest Pramox is an oral gel containing moxidectin and praziquantel for the control, with a single dose of nematodes (including encysted larval stages of cyathostomes), and the larvae migrate three taenia main species affecting the species .

Do not use in foals less than 6.5 months of age. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients. The product has been formulated exclusively for use in horses. Dogs and cats ingest spilled paste or have access to syringes could be adversely affected by the concentration of moxidectin in the product.
Avoid the following practices because they increase the risk of development of resistance and ultimately, ineffective therapy:
For optimal control, the larvae, the product should be administered in the autumn, after completion of flies station and before spring as the larvae can start moving and, therefore, are less responsive to treatment. It is possible the development of parasite resistance to a particular class of anthelmintic following frequent, repeated use of an anthelmintic of that class use. Special precautions to be taken by the person administering the medicinal product to animals
This product can cause eye irritation, skin irritation and skin sensitization.
Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Use protective gloves.
Wash hands or any exposed area after use.
Do not smoke, drink or eat while handling product.
In case of contact with eyes, flush with clean water and seek medical advice.
In case of accidental ingestion, seek medical help and show the package leaflet to the doctor.
To limit the impact of moxidectin in coprophagous wildlife, and due to insufficient information on the environmental risk of praziquantel, horses should not go out to pasture within 3 days after treatment.
Adverse reactions (frequency and seriousness)
Rarely can be seen sagging lower lip, ataxia and swelling of the mouth in young animals. These effects are transient and disappear spontaneously.
At very high parasite loads, destruction of the parasites may cause mild cramping temporary and loose stools in the treated animal.
Use during pregnancy, lactation or lay The veterinary medicinal product has been proven safe in breeding females, pregnant and lactating. The administration of the veterinary medicinal product does not adversely affect female fertility.
Dosage and route of administration A single oral dose of 400 g moxidectin / kg and 2.5 mg praziquantel / kg using a dosing syringe graduation every 25 kg live weight.
